Craig A. Mitchell aka Semi

Nassau, Bahamas

He started playing guitar at an early age and had a reggae band thru high school. He has performed live as the opening act for many reggae Nassau tours. He attended Fanshawe College in Canada where he studied music for three years under the world famous recording producer Jack Richardson. Mitchell gained the extensive knowledge of the recording studio industry as well as the, "ins and outs" of the music business.

Mitchell is certified in Pro Tools and proficient with analog and digital recording equipment. He is a musician who is not only good at writing music but is connected to the words in which he puts down on paper. Words that portray his passion and demonstrate his creativity from those he has followed and learned from. Mitchell reads with a level of absolute understanding in the underlining meaning of the lyrics behind the melody.

Mitchell moved to New York in 2003 to pursue his music-producing career and began engineering. He quickly moved up the studio ladder and has recently opened his own personal studio along with partner John Lopez. From recording to mixing songs for recording artists such as, Chamillionare, Dallas Austin, Rahzel, Arthur and the Invisibles (movie soundtrack), to producing upcoming artist Mitchell has done it all.
